Welcome to Falable. By accessing or using our mobile application and web services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account or using Falable, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree to all terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Account Creation & Security

To access our language learning features, you must create a user profile by registering your email and a display name. You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and password.
• All activities that occur under your account.
• Notifying us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized account access.

3. Credit Economics & Subscriptions

Falable operates on a credits system to offset computing resources (LLM inferences, transcription, text-to-speech engine models):

• Welcome Balance: New registrations receive 30 welcome credits.
• Standard Messages: Messaging standard tutors deducts 1 credit.
• Premium Tutors: Messaging premium voices/tutors deducts 5 credits.
• Subscriptions: Premium subscriptions ($9.99/mo) unlock unlimited standard messages, grant a 100-credit monthly bonus, and provide access to premium-only features: Teaching Mode (structured tutoring), Study Vault (vocabulary & practice topics), and phonetic analysis with pronunciation scoring.
• Ad Rewards: Users can watch rewarded videos (up to 3 daily) to receive 3 credits per ad.

4. Code of Conduct

You agree to use Falable solely for language learning purposes and not to engage in activities that abuse the services, including sending offensive text messages to AI tutors, attempting reverse-engineering, overloading APIs, or using scripts to automate queries.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Falable is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including the accuracy of translation evaluations, fluency improvements, or 100% service uptime.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
